Marry up

Got this beautiful message from a dear friend, the admin of loveissues blog and couldn't help to keep it to myself but to share with you... read below and leave your comment....

If you're not yet married, this is for you.

To marry up means that you marry someone who pulls you up.

I counsel you to marry up.

It's no news that your association can either  raise you or crash you.

Marry someone who can pull you upward, inspire you to go forward and drive you onward in the fulfilment of your destiny.

Someone who can encourage you to be all God wants you to be.

Someone who wants to affect this world somehow with the everlasting Message of Love - the gospel.

Marry someone who has respect for your God-given vision.

Someone who can remind you that the culture of praying is necessary as a culture.

Someone who wants you both to often hold hands and pray together.

Someone who'll encourage you to fast often and study the Word of God as a way of life.

Someone who will keep gingering you to maintain a solid relationship with God.

Marry someone who'll ask you questions about what scripture says and want both of you to flip the pages of the Bible in search of the answers.

Marry someone who enjoys the Word of God and the presence of God.

Marry up.

If you're wise, don't marry down.

Marry someone who prays or at least is eager to learn how to pray.

Marry someone who prays fervently in tongues or at least wants to know how to pray fervently in tongues.

Marry someone who hears from God or at least desires strongly to hear from God.

Someone who dreams of "being more" for God and doing more for the kingdom

Don't waste your emotional energies on people who just want to be in a romantic cloud but have no respect for truth and its impact on the issues of life.

Romance is good but yes, marry someone who also loves the content of the book of Romans.

Beauty is a disaster except she loves Jesus Christ with a passion and is eager to grow in the knowledge of Him.

Being handsome is great only if he loves Jesus Christ with a passion and is eager to grow in the knowledge of Him.

They don't have to be a pastor, but marry someone who really love...
